01/01/2011 Winnie has now been neutered and is living with her wonderful new family in Barry. Many thanks go to Ian and Jennifer for offering her a loving home where she gets to sleep on Ian's lap every night. She always was a man's cat and now she's got her dream home and we are so happy for her :-) Winnie has struggled this year with her babies and called non stop in between times so we will only be mating her one more time with one Star and see if we can keep something from her lines to work on with. It will be sad to lose her from the Landsker lines but we hope that there will be a nice girl in her last litter and she deserves to be happy so hopefully life as a neuter will give her that. Well Winnie had some really lovely babies with Star on this mating and with only the four babies we've managed to keep Winnie in better condition this time. She is due to be neutered in September now but thankfully Valora is going to go on into the breeding program to keep the lines growing. Winnie is from my old lines with Hrokka and Tippo and it's lovely to know that she will be able to have a rest now and live her life as just a happy cat.

 

Winnie is now just about to have her 3rd birthday so we decided to celebrate 2008 with a new photo and update on her page. Winnie has grown much more than I expected her to when she was a kitten and she's matured beautifully in my view, she has a majesty and way of carrying herself that never fails to catch my eye. She has this one really endearing habit of putting her front paws on my legs to greet me whenever she sees me and I do love her so! She has given us some lovely kittens with Lysander. You can see her kittens from the past below.

Winnie 2005

Arwen has many names :-) Winnie the purr, Minime and several others. Her own her mother, Fallon (who also has many names) is my Hrokka's daughter from her first litter. So the first thing that we did when she came to our house was put her with her grandmother Hrokka to take in hand and Hrokka certainly made a wonderful job of settling her in and teaching her the Landsker manners :-)

Winnie is a very tolerant girl and Quillian just loves to cuddle up with her, though he does rather cover her all over nowadays, but then it's not surprising as he is rather a large boy.
