Dune will be 4yrs old by the end of the year and bless her she has given us so much in our breeding program, those lovely kittens that have gone on to be wonderful pets as well as show winners like Usher. She really has turned into a beautiful girl and progressed in just the way that I would expect those lines to progress. As each year has gone by she's just got better and better and it's lovely to see her Grand children coming along through her son 'Usher' at the Amurusko cattery belonging to Dawn Spence. Usher is about 8kgs now and is only just over a year old so he's definitely a big boy. Dune has really added a special something to our breeding and household and we love her just as she is.

Dune came to us from Poland in 2008 and has settled in so well it's as if she's been her for her whole life. She is a lovely sized girl who has good boning, a long body and tail and a really sweet nature that she passes on to her kittens each and every one. She has wonderful ears and setting and the best lynx tipping I've seen in this cattery. Best of all is her nature though as there is never anything to worry about with Dune, she is a very good mother and takes her responsibility to her kittens very seriously but also takes good care of herself, which is a must in my books. Dune comes from Tippo's sister, who is her grand mother and it's wonderful to see how familiar she is to me through both Tippo and Xaxita and she has all those qualities that I love in those lines with some new ones thrown in. Below you can see some pictures of her Grand mother and Aunty Anhelda that I took when I went over to visit in Sweden 2009. She has had some wonderful kittens since she's been here and I am so looking forward to seeing her babies with Star as they progress over the next few months. I am hoping to keep one of the girls from this litter and the lovely black and white male that she had will be trekking his way back to Sweden as soon as he's old enough to live with his Great Grand mother Xaxita.
