Norwegian Forest kittens range in price in the UK from £350 - £500 for pet kittens, some breeders charge more for a breeding or show cat. This is something that we don't do at Landsker as we feel that the worth of a kitten shouldn't be more just because a profile or chin or ears are different! The home is what is important to us and so all Landsker kittens are priced the same. Please note that all kittens available can be found on this page and it is always up to date even if the date isn't current when you view. Landsker kittens are brought up underfoot in our home with us as pets and are only allowed access to the outside pens when they are big enough to jump onto the kitchen countertop themselves. This is what helps to make them so sociable as both kittens and adults.
A Norwegian Forest cat can bring so much to your life as they do to ours, endless hours of fun and laughter...who needs the TV? Real companionship, they always know when you're not really up to things and offer never ending comfort just when you need it. Great perspective on life, they really don't sweat the small stuff and to see them full of the joys of spring and just life in general is a huge bonus to us. Life is GOOD but life has been GREAT for us since we've had this truly wonderful breed as companions in our home. Have a look at the kittens from the past below. When you get a kitten - What you see is definitely not what you get in the end. They always surprise you with their majesty and intelligence :-) |

Here the kittens are pictured with their Great Great Grandmother. They came over for a photo shoot today and just walked in as if they had been here their whole lives. Helena really surprised me by not only accepting them but very helpfully giving them a suckle even though she has no milk or babies herself!!! These babies are a hosted litter who live with Terena. Kaipo, the cream smoke & white male in the picture will be coming to stay here with his dad and we're really looking forward to that.
For these two delightful kittens pictured above please contact Terena Tel: 01269 851255

Kittens from the Past - updated 09.08.08
As we all know, fluffy kittens all grow up to be adults. The beauty of the Norwegian Forest cat is that they take a long time to mature fully into the beautiful adults that they promise to become as a kitten. Below you can see a few of the kittens that are just starting to show more of their huge potential as adults.
Below you can see Ulysses when he was a baby and how he was at 10mths old. I was absolutely bowled over by the size of him when I went to drop Yogi off. Uly is now only 10 months old and as large, if not larger than his father. Added to that his wonderful Tippo temperament, he kept head butting my head just as his dad does....what a guy!

10 months old below
Grand Champion & Tica Grand Champion Landsker Ymer
Tippo x Helena
Ymer is now called 'Pink' and he lives a happy life up in Yorkshire with Kate. He's a very sweet natured boy, belying his true nature of a clever boy who can open doors when you're not looking...just like his dad Tippo :-) I'm very happy that he's gone on to sire some lovely kittens and passed on his genes into the Forest cat population. Thanks for taking such good care of him Kate.

Landsker Arlen
Tippo x Ska Arlen at 10mths old at the NFCC Show Feb 08. Arlen is a HUGE boy for his age and it was a great pleasure to see him win his Premier Certificate at the show that day and to catch up with his lovely owner Anne, who obviously adores him :-) Congratulations go to them both! |
Grand Champion Landsker Neo
It was also a great pleasure to meet up with Neo now as a mature male and I have to say that he is an impressive cat to meet, jumping from Jeanette's arms onto my shoulder even though he hadn't seen me for a couple of years at least :-) It wasn't that easy to get a photo of him as he is so interested in everything that is going on around him. He really is a lovely boy and does Jeanette proud as well as me. Congratulations go to both of them on his BIS Entire male at the NFC Club show in February. Jeanette has given Neo a wonderful life and as natural a one as anyone could give a stud cat. I'm so happy that the two males that I have sold for stud have gone to such loving and understanding owners who know what a hard life a male can have so a huge Thank you goes to them both.

Landsker Gideon
Here is 'Swifty' as he is now called, taking a rest from his busy life and relaxing in the shade. He's now 10 months old and firm friends with his cousin Benjie. Thanks for the photo Pete.
|
The lovely Saffie!
Here is the lovely Saffie who is now just over a year old and the sweetest natured girl, she loves to go out on her harness with Anna and isn't above sneaking out the back door on occasions :-) Thanks for the photo Anna.

Landsker Talulah
I just love this picture of Talulah in the snow that Shirley was kind enough to send me this week. She has a really lovely wild look which, I am assured, is nothing like her temperament as she is a big softie :-) |
Landsker Taima & Landsker Tokala
I really love it when they're allowed to live a natural life and these two go hunting for rabbits! Many thanks to Mark for the pictures and update on these lovely babes and for allowing them to live such a free and wonderful life.
