Star is now just over 2 years old and usually weighs just over the 8kgs mark so he's gone on to fulfill a lot of the promise that he had as a youngster. He has produced some gorgeous kittens with Dune and happily two of them are going to be used for stud in the future so his legacy will go on into the breed. We have also kept a daughter of his from the last mating with Helena as she will be retired and neutered now so it's lovely to be able to carry on her lines as well. Star will now be retired for a while from breeding and we will be using the Suprelorin implant on him to give him a break from his hormones and allow him just to be a happy housecat. Quormit and Curtis will then take over for a year or so until he is ready to take his place once again as a stud cat. It is a wonderful thing to be able to allow entire males to take a break from breeding as they can lose so much condition as they mature and just look for females all the time so we are grateful that this implant now gives us the opportunity to keep males happy when out of the breeding program for a year or so. We will be updating his page with photos and news of how he is doing over the coming year.

STAR, well Star is exactly what his name implies. He is a star by nature and the loveliest male to look at. He weighs in at 7.5kgs at 1yr old and is the gentlest of entire males when it comes to my lovely Granddaughter Erin as you can see on his gallery page. This lovely little man as I call him floated my boat in the very first pictures I saw of him and he's done so ever since. He brings back my Hrokka and Tippo lines into my breeding and has that wonderful boning that goes along with that mating. He's a joy to live with and the Best Ambassador for the breed I could ever want because as soon as visitors see him they can't see any other cat....what a STAR he is.
